Are wheels attached at the factory?
  • Yes, we install wheels on our trunks and cubes at the factory.
Do I need to provide my email address when ordering a trunk?
  • Email addresses are not a requirement when ordering. But an email address is needed to track your order thru UPS.  To eliminate order tracking issues, we ask that you do provide your email address.
Do you provide locks with your trunks?
  • Our trunks are shipped with a locking hasp. For additional security, they will accept a padlock. Customers have told us they would like us to provide locks as a convenience. We are putting together a collection of locks at competitive prices for our customers. Stay tuned!
Do you sell you trunks wholesale?
  • We do sell wholesale in quantities of 50 or more.
Does the steel dent?
  • Under normal wear and tear you may receive some cosmetic blemishes. These in no way affect the serviceability of the trunk.
How much taller is the trunk when wheels are added?
  • Wheels add 1 ¾” to the height of our trunks.
Is the lacquer finish on the finished cedar waterproof?
  • The exterior finish is water resistant, not waterproof. Wipe up water spills on the surface as soon as possible. The lacquer manufacturer says that leaving water on the surface for 24 hours may leave a milky film which can be removed with a light rubbing of 300-400 grit sandpaper and then wiping with a soft cloth. However, we know the finish is tough because we have let water stand on the cedar/lacquer finish for 24 hours, wiped the water off and found no residue whatsoever.
What does your finish consist of?
  • Stain, sealer, and catalyzed lacquer. We hand rub or buff the surface lightly in the direction of the grain to eliminate rough spots and lastly wipe with a soft cloth.
When will I receive my trunk?
  • All trunks are shipped within 2 business days. All trunks are shipped via UPS. You will receive a tracking number when your trunk is shipped.
Will you make a trunk to our specifications?
  • We do make custom trunks. These are subject to the limitations of our materials, machinery, and schedules. We will be happy to discuss your trunk requirements and provide a quote. Contact us for more information.
Why are your products that contain cedar more expensive?
  • The cedar we use costs more  - alot more! It is an "A" grade, the best that can be bought. And our cedar is made especially for us, to our specs, in the USA. (We sometimes see the term "Premium Grade" used to define the quality of lumber or plywood. That grade does not exist. "Premium Grade" lumber is a marketing term.)
